With all the warm weather we have been having here on the hill it feels late to be tapping but we are actually right on schedule with our maple syrup plan. Our new to us boiler is up at the cabin and ready to go and our new tube and bucket collection system is on the trees. Aesthetically I really like the look of the old galvanized buckets in the woods but for practicality and easy of set up these can’t be beat. We will boil our first batch this weekend!
Its nice to finally have some assistance when drilling the taps.
